Areas of concern are integrating literacy components and using differentiated instruction. Areas of concern are integrating literacy components and using differentiated instruction. Provide observation opportunities in these areas for students Based on the data analysis the following recommendations are made: • • The data show that the majority of students scored in the target and acceptable range for the case study. Scores on the assessment tools section of the assignment have improved from the previous year. Areas of minor concern are writing recommendations for other professionals and parents. Spring 16 READ 710 Professional Development Presentation Project Read 712 Clinic Performance Portfolio The data show that the majority of students scored in the target and acceptable range for the professional development presentation. Areas of concern include the theoretical framework, PowerPoint presentation, and hand out portions of the assignment. The data show that the majority of students scored in the target and acceptable range for the clinic performance portfolio. There are no identified areas of concern at this time. Based on the data analysis the following recommendations are made: • Advise students to take READ 794 prior to this course • Provide more opportunities for students to observe professional development presentations and presentation materials. • Discuss whether course should continue to be offered in the summer due to lack of reading specialists to observe No recommendations are made at this time.
