B Pursuant to a Notice Of Special Board Meeting called by the President of the Board of Trustees, a copy of which is attached as an addendum to these Minutes and in accordance with Section 1.4.2 of the District Board Policies And Administrative Organization Manual, a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Junior College District of St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri was held on Monday, April 11, 1966, at the Central Office of the District, 7508 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, Missouri. 1. GENERAL FUNCTIONS 1.2 Roll Call The Board President, Mrs. Joseph C. Bastian, called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. The following members were present: Mrs. Joseph C. Bastian Messrs. Vice President Robertson explained to the Board that bids had been received 8 in accordance with Board policy. Mr. Robertson further explained that the low bid B in the amount of $173,916.00 from Royal School Laboratories had been rejected B due to qualifying statements on their bid and an improperly attested-to bid bond. B Due to the disqualification of this b i d , the Board was requested to approve B the next lowest bid in the amount of $196,990.00 received from Metalab Equipment B Company. B Whereupon, on motion by Mr. Williamson, seconded by Mr. Glaser, it was B RESOLVED, That the Board of Trustees of The Junior College District of B fl fl St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri accept the bid of Metalab Equipment Company and award an order for laboratory equipment for the Forest Park Campus, in the amount of $196,990.00.
