This Issue of our ADS
Newsletter is devoted totally
to Travel Services and Office
Supply contract updates. In
the past, it has been difficult
to find preferred vendors for
Institute travel programs that
would benefit the majority of
campus users. However, we
have recently negotiated
travel service contracts with
the following vendors:
TRAVEL LEADERS
airfare, hotel, and car rental
INDY PARK RIDE & FLY
parking at the Indpls Airport
AVIS
local and airport vehicle rental
WYNDHAM Hotel Group
Hotel and resort discounts
By Dan Wells,
Director of ADS
Please take a few moments to read
the summary of each vendor’s services
listed in this Newsletter. All travel
services are available for both business
and personal use. More detail is available
on the ADS Travel Services Web Page.
We have a new OfficeMax contract
that provides additional cost savings to
campus departments. You will want to
check out the short listing of items that are
now offered at a lower cost to your
department.
Also, we are hosting a “Get to Know your
Vendor” event for both travel service
providers and OfficeMax on Thursday,
December 2nd, in the Kahn Room, from
11 am to 1 pm. This will be your
opportunity to register for their program,
ask questions, and get familiar with the
services they provide. Please plan to
stop by and chat.
Feel free to
contact me or
Bob Watson
for more
information
about these
service
providers.

Even Better Pricing from
The E&I Cooperative recently renegotiated this contract
for another five years. This new contract offers a 27%
reduction in prices for our core 900 office supply items.
Orders placed by 3 p.m. will be delivered next day to
your desk, Tuesday – Friday. To reduce the environmental
impact of carbon emissions, the Institute has elected to not
have deliveries made one day each week. There are no
deliveries made to campus on Mondays. Authorized
department office supply buyers can set up a “favorites” list
in their profile to quickly place orders on-line with OfficeMax.
