Jordan Sonnenblick is the author of nine books for children and young adults. Before becoming a full‐ me writer, he taught 8th grade English (his favorite subject). He wrote Drums, Girls, & Dangerous Pie, when he couldn’t find a book that was ‘just right’ for a student going through a difficult me. His cri cally ac‐
claimed novels, Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie , Notes From The Midnight Driver, and A er Ever A er have earned numerous awards including: The Rebecca Caudill Award, Best Book for Young Adults, Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults Selec on, and the American Library Associa on Schneider Family Book Award.
