America Reads America Reads is a tutoring program where students go into the schools in the local community and tutor students who are struggling in various subjects. Every student has the same schedule each week based around your class schedule. Monthly meetings and journaling is also required. They also get to play games and serve as positive role models for the children. Additional requirements include criminal background check and child abuse clearance. Kids Café The volunteers at Kids Café in Reading provide support to the Salvation Army’s after school program. Each day the kids receive dinner and our students provide homework help and act as a positive role model for the children. Fleetwood Elementary School- Science Wizardry Instructor will lead students in hands on experiments, and teach students about outer space, chemical reactions, biology and more. We provide curriculum and supplies. Compensation is $35 per class. (1 hour) and meet on Tuesdays 3:35-4:50 (8 week program).
