The survey consists of 22 questions. Respondents answer each of the 22 questions on a five point Likert scale from 1 (definitely disagree) to 5 (definitely agree). Above, I have summarised the results for Oxford and other UK medical schools for 2015. I have given two scores: the mean across all 22 questions and the percentage agreeing to question 22. The latter score aggregates the proportion of students answering ‘mostly agree’ or ‘definitely agree’ to the question ‘Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the course’ and is the headline measure used by the UNISTAT website. 87% of Oxford students answered this question with ‘definitely agree’: by far the highest proportion in any UK medical school.
