Update on Transfer Courses and Competencies Meeting with RACC about course transfer brought need to have a transfer policy for General Education Competencies. As part of Kutztown University’s agreement with local community colleges students with an Associate’s degree should only need 60 more credits to graduate. Students are finding it easier to transfer to Millersville, West Chester, etc. 3 Two options to evaluate competency transfer are: department chairs evaluate the course for their departments or the General Education Committee evaluates the courses to be transferred. 4. Next Meeting The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2013 in MSU 322. 5. Other, as may arise No additional agenda items. 4
