Dr. Robert A. Lawson holds the Jerome M. Fullinwider Endowed Centennial Chair in Economic
Freedom in the O’Neil Center for Global Markets and Freedom in the Cox School of Business at
Southern Methodist University. He is co-author of the widely-cited Economic Freedom of the World
annual reports, published by the Fraser Institute, which present an economic freedom index for over
140 countries.
Jeffrey Tucker serves as distinguished fellow of the Foundation for Economic Education, Executive
Editor of Laissez Faire Books, research fellow of the Acton Institute, and CEO of the social network
startup Liberty.me. He is the founder of the CryptoCurrency Conference, serves as economic
consultant to the popular podcast Let’s Talk Bitcoin, and writes a fortnightly column for Crisis
Magazine. He is author of Bourbon for Breakfast, It’s a Jetson’s World, and A Beautiful Anarchy, and
thousands of articles, introductions, and prefaces.
Dr. Benjamin Powell is the inaugural Director of the Free Market Institute and Visiting Professor in
the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He is the North American Editor of the
Review of Austrian Economics. He is also editor of Making Poor Nations Rich: Entrepreneurship and the Process
of Development, co-editor of Housing America: Building Out of a Crisis and author of the upcoming
Cambridge University Press book Sweatshops: Improving Lives and Economic Growth.
Dr. James Stacey Taylor is Associate Professor of Philosophy at The College of New Jersey.
Branded a heretic by the London Times for his arguments in favor of legalizing markets in human
organs in his book Stakes and Kidneys: Why markets in human organs are morally imperative, he is also the
author of Practical Autonomy and Bioethics, and Death, Posthumous Harm, and Bioethics. He is the editor
of Personal Autonomy: New essays and Death: Metaphysics and Ethics. He is currently working on a book
defending markets in everything, including votes and children.
