Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Harley-Davidson® Motorcycle & Professional Development Program?
Fort Scott Community College Harley-Davidson program is the first exclusive Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Technician and Professional Development Program that offers an associate of applied science degree in the
country. FSCC is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the program is
approved by the Kansas Board of Regents. This program was designed with you, the Harley enthusiast, in mind.
Students spend time in the classroom and a summer internship, learning all aspects of diagnostics,
repair, sales, marketing, parts management, and customer service.
Will I earn a degree?
Yes! At the end of the two-year program, students are eligible to graduate with an associate of applied science
degree in motorcycle service technology from Fort Scott Community College.
Once students have completed an associate of applied science, they may transfer into a baccalaureate degree
program. FSCC works with area universities to make the transition into a four-year program as smooth as
possible.
How do I become a student?
Potential students of the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Technician Training & Professional Development
Program must have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete the FSCC Online Admission Application

not required to take placement tests.
