Vex is a robotics competition designed for middle school and high school students. As students in engineering, we believe that it is our duty to get younger students engaged in science, technology, math and engineering. To help view this image, we host a Vex Robotics Competition here at CSU. Our next Vex competition will be held on January 31st, 2015. To make this event run smoothly, we will need as much help as possible. This is why we are asking for your help today. We will need volunteers for the day of the event as well as people to help set up the night before. Volunteers include inspectors, runner (to make the event run smoothly), referees and more. Some volunteer positions only need to show up the day of the event while others require training prior to the event. If you are interested in helping out at this years Vex event either talk to an IEEE officer for more information or contact me, Will Monahan. You can get a hold of me at monahan.w.us@ieee.org. You can also go ahead and fill out the form here http://goo.gl/gg5uTH That will be the best way to get involved. All of the positions and their descriptions are available in the link above. Thank you for your time. I look forward to speaking to those of you who are interested in pursuing our vision.
