Who is Crowe Horwath
Australia?
Our Trademark Behaviours
(Values)
Crowe Horwath is the 5th largest
financial services business in Australia
and the 6th largest in New Zealand.
We have over 80 offices throughout
Australia and over 20 in New Zealand.
Our Trademark Behaviours describe
how we work together and how we work
with our clients. Our Trademarks are
therefore at the core of how we operate.
Our Trademarks are:
We’re also part of Crowe Horwath
International, one of the 10 largest

What do we do?
Our company is focused on providing
business advice to small and mid-sized
organisations, as well as financial
advice to individuals – which is the key
differentiator that shapes the close and
long-term relationships we form with
our clients.
We offer our clients a variety of services
that go beyond traditional Accounting;
including Audit, Taxation, Business
Advisory and Financial Advice…. just to
name a few! Sharing knowledge within
and across our teams is one of our core
strengths. This means we have the
ability to offer our clients a broad range
of complementary services and our
employees are always learning from
one another.

Client relationships
The hallmark of a Crowe Horwath
professional is their commitment to
become a leading expert in their field
and their ability to offer guidance and
customised solutions to meet clients’
unique needs.
Client Survey results tell us that we’re
friendly, accessible and easy to do business
with. These are some of the reasons why
clients enjoy working with us.
Likewise, our Employee Survey tells us
that our people genuinely value their
relationships with our clients – one of
the reasons they love working here!
These great outcomes are the result
of taking the time to understand
our clients’ needs and even more
importantly having the internal
resources to develop strong, longterm relationships.
Working at Crowe Horwath provides
you with the opportunity to build
real relationships with your clients.
Crowe Horwath really does offer
‘The relationship you can count on’
for our clients and employees.
Relationships matter
We might be in the numbers game
but, it’s the people behind them who
count. Pardon the pun!
At Crowe Horwath, we are a
dedicated, friendly, committed and
talented team who genuinely enjoy
what we do. Whilst we have a
compelling presence, our offices are
managed locally, so we retain a
personal, friendly environment, with
close links to our local community.
Our size offers our employees the
variety of work, security and
opportunities they are looking for,
whilst our personalised culture offers
a Great Place to Work.
A great place to work
We fully embrace this philosophy.
Each year all Crowe Horwath employees
participate in a survey to provide
feedback to their firm, on how it is
performing across a range of areas.
The survey is anonymous and it’s our
way of measuring staff satisfaction and
the general health of our business from
a people perspective. The survey is
used by multiple companies so we can
benchmark our results externally
against other organisations. Results are
always shared with employees and
year-upon-year improvements remain
our focus.
A long term career with
Crowe Horwath
At Crowe Horwath we embrace the
concept of working together as ONE
across our many teams in Australia
and New Zealand. In addition to
local and trans-Tasman career
opportunities, Crowe Horwath can
also offer opportunities in over 100
countries through our global network
of well-established member firms, or
by taking advantage of secondment
opportunities with clients within the
Crowe Horwath network, both nationally
and internationally.
We actively encourage our people to
grow and develop through a broad
range of opportunities available within
our business. We’re big enough to
deliver all your career needs, but
small enough to offer a flexible and
personalised approach to developing
your career!
Flexibility
You will be able to access a range of
flexible working arrangements to help
you manage your work, study, social
and family commitments. Many of
our staff currently undertake formal

finish times. Also, a range of informal
flexible arrangements can be accessed
for one-off personal commitments or

Career development
You will have access to a broad range of
high quality clients and the opportunity
to work on a vast range of tasks.
Our “PACE” programme helps you
achieve your career objectives with
goal setting, career planning and
performance reviews. We have a clear
Career Development framework so that
you know where you’re headed and
what you have to do to get there. Our
Management Team has an open door
policy and actively mentors staff.
Access is provided regularly to quality
on-the-job coaching and professional
development, with internal training
sessions covering a range of technical
and soft skill topics, including leadership.
We support our undergraduates with
Study Assistance and provide extensive
support to our CA and CPA candidates.
Professional association fees and costs
for attendance at external training are
also provided by the firm.
