Thank you for your interest in our Truck Driving Program. Our six week program allows students to accumulate 16 hours of college credit in preparation for the Commercial Driving License (CDL) examination for operation vehicles in interstate commerce. We are located in Ft. Scott, KS. We are authorized licensing examiners for the state of KS, and administer the driving portion of the CDL exam at the school. We are accredited through the National Association of Publicly Funded Truck Driving Schools. During the six week period, students accumulate 240 hours of classroom and driving time. Emphasis is on federal motor carrier regulations, driver’s daily log, mileage and defensive driving. We can prepare you for the written exam or you may take the written exam prior to attending the program. Students spend 151 hours in the driving segment of the training. This time includes the driving range and backing range. At the end of the course, individuals who successfully complete the course will be presented a school certificate of completion.
