Resume – Contact information; education; professional experience; honors and awards;
publications/presentations (if any); professional organization membership; consulting or advisory
activities
Applicant Statement – The candidate should discuss his/her reasons for pursuing a master’s
degree in Instructional Technology; the relationship of the degree to the candidate’s current
position and career goals; and the candidate’s career vision five years into the future.
Three recommendation letters – Please provide three recommendation letters from
professional or academic references.
Writing Sample – Please provide a writing sample. Acceptable examples include previous
submissions for coursework, grant proposals, published materials, etc.
GRE Scores – Your GRE scores must be from within the last five years. Please request that ETS
send an official score report to Texas Tech University (institution code 6827).
