IE Weekly Report May 29, 2015 • • • • • • • • • • • • Status of Response Report Drafts OPA is drafting the responses for CS 3.2.12, CS 3.3.1.1, CS 3.3.1.2, and CS 3.3.1.3. Initial drafts are completed. Dr. James received the latest iteration of CS 3.3.1.3. CS 3.3.1.2 is nearly ready for Dr. James’ editing. CS 3.2.12 is ready for uploading and linking in iWebfolio. An Assessment Revision Reminder email was sent to all Chairs, Deans, and Associate Deans to remind them of the upcoming June 15th assessment revision deadline. This revision is critical for providing updated evidence in the Response Report. OPA staff is carefully considering which units to highlight within the narratives of each SACSCOC response. For example, CS 3.3.1.3 will most likely highlight the following offices: Student Legal Services, University Libraries, Academic Testing Services, Student Disability Services, RaiderReady, and Transition & Engagement. Comprehensive Standard 3.3.1.2 will most likely emphasize narratives from Student Business Services, Hospitality Services, Operations Division, Accounts Receivable, Student Union, and Recreational Sports. Because degree programs are revising assessment evidence up until June 15, samples of evidence to be included in the narrative for Comprehensive Standard 3.3.1.1 will be determined in late-June. Dr. James recommended that OPA staff contact each administrative support service unit and each academic and student support services unit to identify and provide precise thresholds for success. This effort will begin next week. Engineering Assessment Reporting Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Computer Engineering Assessment Templates are complete. Templates were returned to Dr. Giesselmann to supply missing information by June 10th. The Mechanical Engineering Template is complete, and Dr. James will identify who should receive this report. Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Environmental Engineering Assessment Templates will be completed by June 1, and will be returned to Chairs to supply missing information.
