To be corrected.

Developmental Math
Discussion of Math 93 not currently being a prereq for Math 100; students transferring in Math
100 will be exempt from Math 93. What if a
student completes Math 100 then wants to take a
college level math that requires Math 93?
Ordinarily the completion of a college level math
like Math 100 would exempt a student from
needing any developmental math. Students who
complete Math 86 and BA 109 will be graduating
with no exposure to algebra. What is our comfort
with that? Should Math 92 be added to BA 109 as
a pre/co? N. Albert pointed out that Math 100
currently has a co-requisite of ENG 90 and READ
95; they should both be pre/co so that students can
take them at the same time. V. Slider will speak
with C. Stokes about that change and get back to
the committee.
Continue discussion.
V. Slider will check with C.
Stokes about changing pre/corequisites for BA 109.

Follow-up
CIT- 2nd Reading- C. Cornforth
Systems Dev, AAS and WJU 2+2
WJU has not returned L. Soly’s phone call. Carol
clarified that when the layout says, “CIT elective”
the course can truly be any CIT course. Corrected
Gen Ed core.
Second reading approved:
Cresap, Stoffel.
Motion carried.
Health Care CAS- 1st Reading- R. Lucki
Sequencing issue: cannot meet the pre-req for AHS
150, 207, 210 in the first semester as BIO 115 is a
pre-req.
If BIO 114 is made a pre-co to the above AHS
courses, the sequence can remain.
It was suggested that the math core and the second
year restricted elective be switched for better
sequencing. It was also suggested that AHS 105
be added to the restricted elective list.
L. Soly asked if Phlebotomy is offered on all
campuses; R. Lucki replied that it is. She also
suggested that BIO 117 be added to the restricted
electives.
