If your appeal is received after the following date for each term, you will not be eligible for financial aid for that term and must re-appeal for
the next term by the established deadline date:
FALL 2016: September 02, 2016
SPRING 2017: January 20, 2017
SUMMER 2017: May 26, 2017

How to Run a Northern Navigator Worksheet *(entry term Fall 2012 and forward)*
1.
Login to your Northern on the Web (N.O.W) account
2.
Click on Student link or Student Services Tab
3.
Click on Student Records link
4.
Click on Northern Navigator. Print the worksheet (degree audit) that appears on the screen.
5.
The classes you have taken are marked with a “check” and the ones you still need to take are not checked. Use the outline for your
program in the Catalog to determine the order in which you should take the remaining courses.
6.
If you have a second major/minor that you also need a worksheet (degree audit), select What-If .
7.
Enter the required information (Degree, Academic Year, Major) and click Process What-If
8.
Print and submit Northern Navigator Worksheet with 150% Academic Plan Appeal.
How to Run a Degree Evaluation *(USE ONLY IF entry term prior to Fall 2012)*
1.
Login to your Northern on the Web (N.O.W) account
2.
Click on Student link or Student Services Tab
3.
Click on Student Records link
4.
Click on Degree Evaluation and select the term you wish to run the evaluation on
5.
At the bottom of the screen, select Generate New Evaluation
6.
Select your program, degree, major and evaluation term and then select Generate Request
7.
The classes you have taken are marked with a yes and the ones you still need to take are marked with a no. Use the outline for your
program in the Catalog to determine the order in which you should take the remaining courses.
8.
If you have a second major/minor that you also need an evaluation for, return to step four, and instead of clicking the Generate New
Evaluation link, select What-If Analysis instead
9.
Enter the required information (Term, Program, Campus and Major) and click Submit
10. Enter evaluation term and click Generate Request again
11. Print and submit degree evaluation(s) with 150% Academic Plan Appeal.
Keep in mind that these evaluations will not show transitional (developmental) course credits that may be required.
*A degree evaluation and/or Northern Navigator worksheet must be submitted for each degree you are working on
