Designed business management software used by solar contractors. Conducted training, webinars and online support.
Solar Technologies: 2005 - 2010
Project manager and principal engineer for this photovoltaic system design and installation company.
Developed drawings used for permit process, provided computer modeling and shading studies. Designed
over 500 PV systems, including residential, commercial, agricultural and municipal projects. Performed
wind loading and structural calculations for both roof-mounted and ground-mounted PV systems. Selected
commercial projects include:
 Preliminary design of 600 kW system at Power Integrations
 90 kW system at Feeney wire rope using Sunpower ballasted T10 system
 85 kW system at NIAC using S5! clamps on standing metal seem roof
 75 kW ground mount system at Brockman Farms
 15 kW system on new construction at Live Oak Resource Center

Project leader, systems engineer, process engineer and mechanical design engineer for several different
chemical vapor deposition tools from initial feasibility studies to first beta site placement. Performed finite
element analysis of steel frame for the reaction chamber.

Seven years’ of experience in the power plant industry doing equipment performance and acceptance
testing, developing operating procedures and investigating equipment failures. Extensive work at over 20
power plants throughout the country.
