[Typical contact hours: 17.5] Prerequisite Skills: None Expected Outcomes for Students: Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to: 1. examine and evaluate performance experiences in relation to: a. patient contact; b. interrelationships with all members of his/her assigned team; c. self-growth; d. assumption of appropriate responsibility in assisting the physician in the clinic or doctor's office; 2. demonstrate verbally and in writing, awareness of new medical information related to the different medical specialties; 3. use problem/solving techniques in direct relation to office rotation experiences; 4. identify aspects of community health; 5. demonstrate principles of customer service.
