Prerequisite Skills: None Expected Outcomes for Students: Upon completion of the course the student should be able to: 1. identify works of art by their technical process; 2. interpret the various ways in which works of art have been used as vehicles of expression; 3. explain the significant art achievements from the Renaissance through Modern Europe as well as of 20th century developments of American art; 4. explain artistic achievements in relation to later developments and to the present.
