SLOAC Meeting Minutes

In attendance: Christina Mendoza, Hilal Ozdemir, Homeira Foth, Deone Konkel, Stacy

Approval of Minutes from 2-16-16: Unable to approve minutes as there was not a quorum
1. Curricunet update: Rachel Ugale & Liem Huynh
a. Meeting date with Governet scheduled 3-4-16 with Rachel Ugale, Liem Huynh,
Robert Yest and Julie Coan, to discuss final changes for curriculum/assessment
side of Curricunet site
b. Curriculum workflow: it was discussed the SLOs entry process could have its own
workflow, which would bypass the curriculum approval process. It was also
determined there should be oversite by the SLOAC team to review submitted
SLOs for approval
c. Faculty access to Curricunet site: discussion to be continued
2. Professional Development: Discussion to continue once final updates have been
completed on Curricunet site
a. Possible guest speaker: Bob Pacheco
b. Dr. Thompson recommended ACCJC Workshop by Dr. Amy Driscoll
c. SLOAC Training Video: On hold until final clarification of Curricunet process
3. Training schedule for Curricunet: to be decided once final updates have been completed
on the Curricunet site
4. Begin planning CWLG Assessment “Civic Responsibility”: to be discussed at next SLOAC
meeting.
