I understand that it is my responsibility to:
1.
Earn an overall (cumulative) grade point average (GPA) of no less than
2.4 - Freshman (0-29 credits)
2.6 – Sophomore (30-59 credits)
2.8 – Junior (60-89 credits) and Senior (90+credits)
2.
Earn a minimum of 24 credits per academic year (scheduling no less than 12 credits per semester) in order
to make satisfactory academic progress.
3.
Check the university issued e-mail account on a regular basis for messages from the coordinator.
4.
Participate in all required events and social programs.
5.
Complete all required assignments.
6.
Communicate legitimate absences to the coordinator in advance and in writing or via email, otherwise the
absence will be considered unexcused. Legitimate excuses include classes and illness but you must have a
written note to be excused for an illness. Please note: If you have class during meetings or events
throughout the semester, you will NOT be required to send an e-mail.

Complete required number of community service hours per semester:

15 hours for full-time scholarship

7.5 hours for half-time scholarship
Discuss with the Assistant Director my intention to withdraw from a class or from a semester of classes
prior to actually doing so. (Note: the Registrar’s Office will not permit BOG students to drop a class
without the program coordinator approving the course withdrawal.)

Maintain a good social standing at the university. Students found to be in violation of state or federal laws,
civil or criminal laws, and/or the Bloomsburg University code of conduct may lose their tuition waiver.
10.
Check your e-mail account two or three times per week for any Board of Governors Program updates.
11.
Complete FAFSA form each academic year.
12.
Participate in the BOG One on One Mentoring Program if a freshman.
By signing below, I have read and understand these conditions and agree to accept the Board of Governors tuition
waiver under these terms. I understand that attendance at all scheduled meetings and events is required.
Should I fail to satisfactorily complete all requirements, I understand that my tuition waiver will not be renewed.
