The department collaborates with campus departments, programs, and organizations to develop, plan, and implement college events to enhance the experience of college life for new and continuing and transfer bound students and to provide opportunities for academic and personal growth. The Office of Student Life and Student Activities play an essential role in campus through offering a multitude of campus events and activities for students and collaborate with other campus departments in an effort to expose students to diverse views and support campus diversity. The Office of Student Life in collaboration with Associate Students of Chabot College supports the continued and creation of campus clubs to reflect student need and interest. The Department and ASCC works in unison with the College Bookstore to make available to students Book Awards as well as work in collaboration with other departments and community to award Student Scholarships for continuing students and transfer students.
