Services Office is primarily responsible for administration of veteran educational benefits programs. We look forward in
helping you in your academic success!
Please read important changes to Priority Registration: Effective Summer/Fall 2014 registration, per SB 1456, all
students including veterans or service members must have completed college orientation, assessment, and developed
student education plan to receive the highest level of priority. Students who are active-duty military, veterans, and/or
reservists will continue to receive priority registration if they meet and complete the following requirements:
1. DD-214 with honorable/other than honorable discharge or proof of military status on file with the
Chabot Veterans Services Office.
2. College online orientation.
3. Assessment.
4. Student Education Plan.
Obtain veterans priority appointment referral from Veterans Office.
5. Maintain good academic standing.
To check your status, log into
CLASS-Web and click the Check your Priority Registration Status link under Student Services &
Financial Aid tab.
PLAN AHEAD. Veterans priority registration for both summer and fall semester is on April 21, 2015. Complete the Veterans
Enrollment Checklist
to make sure you take all the steps necessary to enter successfully into Chabot College.
Fall 2015 Payment Deadlines
June 16, 2015 - if registered between April 21 to June 2, 2015
July 29, 2015 - if registered between June 3 to July 15, 2015

Boots to Books: Strategies for College Success
Chabot College will be offering PSCN 21 (CRN: 22969): Strategies for College Success this coming fall semester. This
class focuses on various themes and challenges that veterans may face while transitioning to college. Workshop topics
will include personal, academic, and career goal setting; educational planning for graduation and/or transfer; and life skills
