The Learning Connection (LC) offers two different ways to schedule tutoring appointments. You can schedule recurring appointments through the LC front desk (in-person), or you can schedule one-time appointments through the website scheduling system (online).
All appointments that are scheduled through the LC front desk are recurring appointments . To schedule a recurring appointment, visit the LC front desk to pick up your Request for Tutoring. Request forms will be available starting the first week of the semester.
Fill out your request form and turn it in to the front desk. We will contact you by phone and/or email once your appointment has been scheduled.
Request forms will be processed in the order they are received.
Scheduled tutoring appointments will begin the third week of the semester.
All appointments that are scheduled through the website scheduling system are one-time appointments .
If you would like to meet with a tutor again, you will need to schedule another appointment.
You may schedule an appointment one to four days in advance through the website scheduling system.
The website will not allow you to schedule same day appointments.

, move the mouse cursor over the “Quick links” heading in the upper right-hand corner of the Chabot College website, then click on “Tutoring.” This will take you to the Learning Connection webpage.
Next, click on “Appointment Scheduling” in the left-hand menu. You may also type the link below: http://www.chabotcollege.edu/LearningConnection/appointmentscheduling/
You will be directed to the “Instructions and Terms of Agreement.” Read through carefully, then click on the green “I agree” button at the bottom of the page.
Do NOT click on “I AGREE” until you have read the “Instructions and Terms of Agreement.” These give important information about tutoring appointments, scheduling, and what to do if you need to cancel an appointment.
You will now be directed to the scheduling system. Follow the directions on the page to log in.
Once logged in, click on the button labeled “Make Appointment.”
You may also click on “View Appointments” to see the appointments you have scheduled.
You will next be asked to select the course you wish to be tutored in.
BE SURE THAT YOU CLICK ON THE CLASS SO THAT IT IS HIGHLIGHTED IN BLUE! IF YOU
SKIP THIS STEP, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCEED.
After you have selected the course and clicked “Continue,” you will be able to search for available appointments. You may search for any open appointment, or you may search for open appointments for a specific day of the week, time, or tutor. Click “Find Appointments” to see available appointments.
Next, look through the available appointments until you find the one you want. Click the box with the star in it under “Select.”
You will be asked to verify your phone number and to confirm your email address. Click “Continue” to schedule your appointment.
You will be sent a confirmation email from the Learning Connection with your appointment information.
You may have one scheduled appointment per week, per class.
