Each division should forward copies to Deonne Kunkel once final versions are received. *November 4th: PRBC reads and synthesizes Program Reviews and begins drafting statements. November 5th: PRBC suggests that divisions discuss how resources were prioritized at their division meetings. November 6th Deans submit summaries to their VP’s including a compiled Resource Request Spreadsheet. PR is posted to the website. November 18th: PRBC reads dean summaries and finalizes statements to inform Prioritization. * PRBC requests that each division send 4‐5 faculty and staff to the November 4th PRBC mtg, 3:00‐5:00 rm 405. In order to distribute PR’s in advance, Deonne will need participant names by Oct. 29th. Instructions: 1. Use the updated forms. a. Student Services: http://www.chabotcollege.edu/prbc/studservicesprogramreview.asp b. Academic Services: http://www.chabotcollege.edu/prbc/academicprogramreview.asp c. Administrative Offices : http://www.chabotcollege.edu/prbc/adminservicesprogramreview.asp 2. Areas should complete a Resource Request Spreadsheet for their programs. a. Prioritize requests using the criteria noted on the spreadsheet. b. Follow the instructions included in PR to save a single version of your spreadsheet. Tabs for each request category are at the bottom of the spreadsheet. c. Request additional/augmented funds. Speak with area administrators to address questions around what constitutes “additional” funding. 3. Administrators will compile all resource requests into a single spreadsheet for their area. November 5th division meetings can be used by areas to discuss how items were prioritized. If a PR is late, requests might not be included in the Nov 5th division meeting discussion. Overview of Updates: 1. A joint BSI and Equity funding proposal has been included. 2. Administrative Offices, Student Services, and Academic Services PR forms have been tailored, in particular the sections related to outcomes assessment. 3. Classified and Faculty Prioritization forms were integrated as was the link to Technology requests. 4. Instructions on how to use the spreadsheet with links to the spreadsheet have been included. The word tables were deleted. 5. Spreadsheet tabs were reorganized to better differentiate funding categories and a tab for reassign time requests was added in response to queries. 6. The language was paired down. Support: October 16th FLEX: Connie and PRBC are offering workshops to address the spreadsheet, funding categories and any other questions. Department Visits: Areas can invite Deonne to meet with them. Email: Faculty and staff can email Deonne with questions.
