Securities Transfer Instructions
Making a gift of electronically transferred shares to Boston College is easy! Simply provide
your broker with written, dated, instructions. Your letter should be signed by the owner
of the securities.
Here’s an example:

Please transfer (quantity) shares of (name of stock) from my account, (account number) with
(name of brokerage), to Boston College at:
Fidelity Investments, National Financial Services Corp.

It is my understanding that the value of my gift will be based upon an average of the high/low
value of the day on which the shares are received in Boston College’s account.
Please provide the Office of Gift Planning at Boston College with details of my gift to ensure
