At a glance Bloomsburg’s 282-acre campus includes 54 buildings in two sections about a quarter mile apart. Most instructional facilities, residence halls and student services are on lower campus. Student apartments and athletic facilities are located on upper campus. The campus is on the northeastern edge of the Town of Bloomsburg, a short walk from an 80-store business district. A community hospital is adjacent to the campus and major chain stores and a mall are nearby. The campus is located a mile south of Exit 236, Interstate 80. Main Visitor information Visitors driving to campus must obtain a visitor’s parking permit and display it in their vehicle. Visitors may park in any legally lined area on campus. Permits can be obtained in the following buildings: Carver Hall, Buckingham Maintenance Center and University Police Department in the lower level of the University Store Building. Visitors to the Admissions Office, Athletic Department, Speech and Hearing Clinic, or the Reading Center may obtain permits from those departments. Free round trip shuttle service is available between the upper campus and lower campus.
