JEFFREY CHOW, curriculum vitae Jeffrey.chow@yale.edu MISSION STATEMENT My research focuses on the economics of land use, particularly at the interface of agriculture and forest cover within tropical and developing regions. My current work includes an econometric and spatial modeling assessment of direct and indirect use benefits from coastal mangrove afforestation in Bangladesh, an econometric evaluation of reforestation drivers in El Salvador, and a valuation of carbon sequestration forestry projects in Costa Rica. Other areas of interest include ecosystem services, natural resource governance, biodiversity, and climate change mitigation and adaptation.
