The International
Research and
Development Division
was established in March
2014 to increase
international research and
development activities at
Texas Tech University.
The division works with
faculty campus-wide to
create teams of researchers, identify
potential funding, and develop grant
proposals. Dr. Gad Perry, the current
Director of the International Center for
Arid and Semiarid Land Studies
(ICASALS) has been tapped to be the
founding Senior Director of the research
division, starting September 1, 2014. Ms.
Reagan Ribordy was hired in Mar ch
2014 as the Senior Grants Administrator,
and has already ramped up efforts to
secure sponsored funding for
international research. As an additional
service to the Texas Tech community,
we have decided to prepare and circulate
to you this monthly International
Funding Alert. We hope that this will
provide you with timely information
regarding funding opportunities for
international research and development
initiatives.
