This program reflects the interest of President Nellis and the entire university community in enhancing international research and development activities at Texas Tech University. The program is designed to provide “startup” funds to support faculty develop preliminary international research and development efforts that is interdisciplinary and multiinstitutional. Supported work should form a pathway towards establishing more ambitious, externally-funded projects. Funds of up to $2,000 will be available every Spring semester following an annual competition. Proposals may be submitted by any TTU faculty, preferably as a team, to support any type of scholarly, international research/development activity. Up to 15 proposals will be supported in the 2015 competition.
