College of Arts and Sciences Committee on Academic Programs (ASCAP) Minutes for Meeting of December 10, 2007 A scheduled meeting of ASCAP was held on Monday, December 10 at 3:00 p.m. in Holden Hall 129. Committee members present were: Ken Baake, Jim Clopton, Greg Gellene, Ram Iyer, Mark Stoll, and David Roach. Presenters were: Cal Barnes and Chris Weiss (Geosciences); Randy McBee, Ron Milam, and James Reckner (History); and Jeremy Mason (Chemistry & Biochemistry). 1. Committee voted to recommend to the next level of consideration the following proposal from the Department of Geosciences. • Add ATMO 2316 Severe and Hazardous Weather to General Education list of courses satisfying the Applied Science and Technology requirement. 2.
