Minutes for Meeting of April 16, 2012
A scheduled meeting of ASCAP was held on Monday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m. in Holden Hall 129.
Committee members present were: Erin Collopy, Nelson Dometrius, Art Durband, David Lamp, Chris
Monico, Philip Pope, Rich Rice, and David Roach. Presenters: Drs. McBee, Skidmore, Vimalassery,
and Willett (History).
Pending minor revisions, the committee voted to recommend to the next level of consideration
the following proposals from the Department of History:
Add HIST 3322 Women in Early America.
Add HIST 5321 The US and The World.
Change title and description for HIST 3323 The History of Women in America.
Change title and description for HIST 5337 Studies of Women in American History.
Change number for HIST 5307 Historiography of the World.
Change number for HIST 5311 Historiography of Early America.
Change number for HIST 6312 Historiography of 19th Century.
Change number for HIST 5313 Historiography of 20th Century.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of ASCAP is scheduled for Monday, April 30, for proposals that
reach the committee and the Dean’s office by Monday, April 23.
