Description: Oak-hickory and shortleaf pine forest restoration and regeneration on 39,884 acres, and treatment of non-native
invasive species (within treatment areas and along roadsides. Treatments will consist of prescribed fire and

Description: The FS, with KY and TN state entomology offices, proposes to treat imported fire ant mounds in LBL using
approved baits and pesticides in order to reduce their numbers on LBL and slow further spread. It is important to
prevent spread.
