The Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Agricultural Communications and Education will be taught by faculty from Tech’s nationally-recognized Department of Agricultural Education and Communications starting in January. more » CASNR partners in project targeting cancer prevention in rural communities Texas Tech researchers are teaming up with United Supermarkets on a $295,000 project that aims to address some of today’s most preventable sources of cancer – obesity, tobacco use and sunburn – in the Panhandle communities of Dalhart and Muleshoe. If successful, similar intervention programs could be replicated in other communities across the state. more » Texas Tech Soil Judging Team shines at regional competition; nationals next Students from Texas Tech’s Department of Plant and Soil Science captured first place in the team competition and third overall today (Nov. 11) at the Students of Agronomy Soils & Environmental Sciences Region IV Collegiate Soil Judging Contest in College Station.
