Tech ACT chapter takes leadership award at Albuquerque Ag Media
Summit
Texas Tech’s Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow chapter took home a series of
awards this week at the Ag Media Summit in Albuquerque, including the chapter
leadership award. The conference’s annual ‘Critique and Contest’ is an opportunity for
the students to submit their work from the last year in writing, publications, electronic
media, public relations, photography and advertising. more »

commencement
More than 1, 300 Texas Tech students, including 39 from the College of Agricultural
Sciences and Natural Resources, received diplomas at the university’s commencement

Texas Tech selected to host national NACTA Judging Conference next
April
Texas Tech University will host more than 40 colleges and their students at the North
American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Judging Conference on April 35, university officials announced today (Aug. 7). Some 800 Students from across the
nation will compete in 13 different contests to establish who walks away with the
