OrganizationBackground:
After‐SchoolAll‐Stars(ASAS)isoneoftheleadingnationalafter‐schoolprogramprovidersinthe
country.Ourcomprehensiveschool‐basedprogramscombineactivitiesandlearningtohelpbuild
theknowledgeandskillschildrenneedtosucceed,bothinschoolandinlife.Foundedasanational
organizationin1992,ASASisbuildinganationalmodelforafter‐schoolprogramdeliverythrough
our13chapters,allofwhichserveat‐riskyouthinmajorurbancenters.
After‐SchoolAll‐StarsOhiooffersprogramminginelementaryandmiddleschoolsinColumbus,
Cleveland,andToledo.Bepartofamuch‐neededmovementtobringqualitycomprehensiveafter‐
schoolprogramstounderservedkids!
PositionRequirements
 MustbeavailableMonday‐Thursdayduringprogramhours,listedbelow:
o 2:00pm–6:00pm
 MusthaveaclearFBIandBCI&Ibackgroundcheck.
RolesandResponsibilities
Thepart‐timeProgramLeader,underthedirectionoftheSiteManager,isresponsibleforthedaily
implementationoftheAfter‐SchoolAll‐Starsprogrammodel:
 Maintainaninviting,safe,orderlyenvironmentthatisconducivetostudentlearning
 ReviewlessonplansatleastoneweekinadvanceandcommunicateanyconcernstoSite
Manager
 DeliverLiFESportscurriculumduringthehealthandfitnesshourandparticipateinallLiFE
Sportstrainings
 Preparematerialsandanyotheritemsneededforlessonplanseachday
 Activelyengagestudentsandparticipateinprogramactivities
 Establishpositiverelationshipswithstudents,schoolstaff,families,andASASsupporters
 Supervisestudentsatalltimesandfollowthesitespecificbehaviormanagementplanwhen
discipliningstudents
 CompleteattendanceaccuratelyandreportabsenteestotheSiteManager
 ReportdisruptivebehaviortotheSiteManageranddocumentinfractionsimmediately
 WorkwithASASstafftoensurethatprogramactivitiesaredeliveredtimelyandeffectively
 Assistwiththedistribution,supervision,andclean‐upofmealsinthecafeteria
 Ensurecleanlinessofclassrooms,auditorium,andotherareaswheretheprogramisheld
 KeepinventoryofASASequipmentandsuppliesdailyandassistwithorganizationofASAS
supplycloset
 CommunicateareasofconcerntotheSiteManagerproactively
 AttendweeklystaffmeetingsprovidedbyASAS






