Follow Route 30 (Commonwealth Avenue) east for approximately 4 miles and turn left onto Centre Street at the traffic light at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Centre Street. Continue on Centre Street for 1/2 mile, and the Law School campus entrance is on the left. From the North and Northeast Route 3, I-93, or I-95 south to Route 128/I-95 south to Exit 24 (Newton, Route 30/Commonwealth Avenue). To continue, see directions from the south and southeast. From the West Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) east to Exit 17. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Centre Street at the first traffic light. The Law School campus entrance is approximately 1 mile ahead on the right. From the Chestnut Hill Campus of Boston College Continue west on Route 30 (Commonwealth Avenue) for approximately 2 miles, and turn right onto Centre Street at the traffic light at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Centre Street. Continue on Centre Street for 1/2 mile, and the Law School campus entrance is on the left. From Logan International Airport Take the Ted Williams Tunnel into Boston to the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) west. Continue to Exit 17 (Newton). Continue straight at the end of the exit ramp; the Crowne Plaza Hotel Newton will be on your left. Immediately after the Crowne Plaza Hotel Newton, turn left, this will bring you around the hotel and over the Massachusetts Turnpike. Take the first right onto Centre Street, and continue approximately 1 mile. The Law School campus entrance will be on the right. 2 PARKING ON CAMPUS All visitors must park in WHITE-LINED spaces. There are two options for parking once you have entered the Newton campus at 885 Centre Street. Behind Law School Immediately after you pass the guard booth, take a left, and go around back behind the Law Library, East Wing, and Stuart House buildings. Please park in any of the white lined parking spaces (NOT the yellow-lined spaces). Please use the Stuart House or East Wing entrance and come to the Admissions Office located in Stuart House, Room 302. Near Athletic Fields Alternatively, after you enter the campus, go straight pass the guard booth, take a right before the chapel, and travel down a short hill. You will also see ample white-lined parking spaces. Please walk up the hill and you will see the front entrance of Stuart House (directly opposite the chapel). The Admissions office is located in Stuart House, Room 302. 3 TRAVEL TO BC LAW VIA PUBLIC TRANSIT You have severl different options via the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (“MBTA” or “T”) using the Green Line. The Green Line is a light-rail system and has multiple “branches.” The trains look somewhat like streetcars and are painted green. You should purchase your fare prior to boarding the train. MBTA Green Line “B” Train to Boston College Stop Take the MBTA's Green Line “B” train outbound towards Boston College. Get off at the Boston College stop, which is the last stop. Once you get off the train, you will see the St. Ignatius Church directly across the street. The church is on the corner of Fr. Herilihy Drive and Commonwealth Avenue. Cross the street, stay on Commonwealth Avenue, and walk uphill. You will pass the Boston College Career Center and some dormitories on your left. The BC shuttle stop is at the Main Gate of the Chestnut Hill Campus. Wait there until the Newton Campus shuttle arrives; do not take the shuttle that says Commonwealth Avenue. The shuttle is free, no ID is required, and the shuttle usually drops passengers off at Stuart House near the back of the building. MBTA Green Line “D” Train to Newton Centre Stop Take the MBTA's Green Line “D” train to the Newton Centre stop and walk approximately one mile to the Law School. We are located at 885 Centre Street in Stuart House. It is a 15-20 minute walk. After you get off the train, take the ramp at the front end of the platform. After exiting the ramp, face left (northwest) and continue walking. Keep going northwest, and continue past the three-story brick apartment building with bay windows, which will be on your left. You should reach the end of the road and now see the large intersection of Centre Street and Beacon Street. You will see Liberty Travel and Starbucks. Press the button for the crosswalk signal so that you an cross over to Centre Street towards Liberty Travel. Go past Liberty Travel and Starbucks and continue north on Centre Street. You will go past CVS after about two blocks. About halfway to the law school, you will come to the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Centre Street. Continue north on Centre Street through the residential area. You will see a stone wall and the entrance to the Law School will be on your left. 4 MBTA Green Line “D” Train to Resevior Stop, Then Boarding to the Free BC Shuttle to BC Law School You can reach the BC Law School's Newton Campus by riding the free Bc shuttle bus from the MBTA's Reservior stop. There are several express shuttle buses that departs from the bus circle at the Reservoir stop on the MBTA's Green Line “D” train. The shuttle usually drops passengers off at Stuart House near the back of the building.
