Ifyouhaveexperiencedproblemsmanagingitemsacrossmultiplecarts,herearesomesimple
pointerstorelievethatdifficulty.
1. DeterminetheDefaultCart:Ifyouareworkingwithmorethanoneactivecart,
determinewhichcartisthe“default”.Whencatalogandnon-catalogitemsareadded,
theywillbeassignedtothedefaultshoppingcart.
Referencethefollowingstepstoviewyourdraftshoppingcarts.
a. ShopàMyCartsandOrdersàViewDraftShoppingCarts
b. The“ViewDraftShoppingCarts”windowwillappearwithalistofyourdraft
carts.Thedefaultcartwillbehighlightedingreen.Fromthispagepageyoucan
click“CreateCart”toaddanewcart.
Tomakeanothercartthedefaultshoppingcart,clickonthecart
icon.

c. YoucanalsodeterminewhichisyouractiveordefaultcartbyclickingontheCart
orAmounthyperlinkintheupperrighthandcorner.
2. RenametheCart:Thecartnameisdefaultedbythesystemandisacombinationofthe
(1)currentdate,(2)usernameand(3)sequencenumber.Thisconventionmaybecome
confusingifworkingwithseveralcartsatthesametime.Itisrecommendedthatyou
renamethecarttosomethingmoremeaningfulsoyoucancorrectlymanageandassign
itemstotheappropriatecart.Example:“AprilOfficeSupplies”or“MayLab
Equipment”.
Tochangethecartname,openthedesiredcartyouwishtorename.Typeinthenew
nameandthenclickthe“Update”button.
3. Updatestoacartwillchangethedefaultstatus:Anytimeyouselectacartormake
updatestoit(i.e.changecartname,additemsorupdatequantities),thatcartwill
becomethenewdefaultshoppingcart.
