Catalog Description: Basic music experiences as related to child development from kindergarten
through middle school including methods of presentation, arranging, and use
of appropriate music literature. Directed observations, field experiences.
Open to music majors and minors only.

Population Served: Third grade class III.
Number of Required Field/Internship: 4 class periods IV.
Required Activities: A. Observe (1 day) B. Collaborate in planning and provide assistance to specified students (take the role as teacher to small groups of students) (3 days) C. Lead part of a group activity 1 of the 3 days How Activities Are Assessed: A. Required participation or make-­‐up for course completion B. Candidates are given specific feedback before, during and after classes V.
