John D. Holm Study Abroad Opportunity Scholarship The John D. Holm Study Abroad Opportunity Scholarship was established to help provide international study opportunities to undergraduate students from Cleveland State University who are socially and economically disadvantaged. Deadlines Oct 15 for Spring, March 15 Summer, June 15 Fall Eligibility Current undergraduate student at Cleveland State University who is economically and/or socially disadvantaged Approved or eligible for general study abroad approval Studying abroad on an approved program that is 4 weeks or longer Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 Instructions Please fill out the information below. Attach a personal statement to this application form and submit both to the Center for International Services and Programs by the established scholarship deadlines. Each recipient will be required to submit a reflection paper to the donor and/ or Center for International Services and Programs no more than 3 months after their return to the U.S from abroad which highlights their experience of study abroad and should include an analysis of the impact of their experience on their ideas about cultural differences, future foci of academic study and career aspiration (up to 1,500 words).
