• all sections in Chapter 1 except Section 1.5 about the substitutions
• Section 1.9 about the exact equations and integrating factors in Chapter 1 in Braun’s Book
• all sections in Chapter 2 except Section 2.3 on the higher order linear ODEs
• all sections in Chapter 6 except Subsection 6.1.2 on the existence and uniqueness, Subsection 6.2.4 on transfer
function, Subsection 6.3.3 on the Volterra integral equation, and Subsection 6.4.4 on three-point beam bending
• all sections in Chapter 3 except Section 3.6 on Second order systems and applications, Section 3.8 on Matrix
exponentials, Subsection 3.9.1 on integrating factor, Subsection 3.9.3 on second order constant coefficients. In
Chapter 3, we only study the two dimensional system
• all sections in Chapter 8 except Section 8.4 on limit cycles, and Section 8.5 on Chaos
