ARTICLE I:
NAJv!E OF QSA STUDENT GROUP
The name ofthis club shall be the Asian Society.
ARTICLE II: PURPOSE OF ORGA.NIZATION
To support., help members to reach their goals, academically as well as
other aspects of life, to promote cultural exchange and socialization with
other ethnic on campus.

ARTICLE ill: MEMBERSHIP
'No person shall be denied membership or office in this organization
because of race; color, religious beliefs or non-belief, national origin, sex,
political beliefs, veteran, handicapped status or sexual orientation. Al1
student s of QCC are welcome to be club members.
ARTICLE N: Section I - OFFICERS A...
N'D DUTIES
All officers shall handle their responsibilities in a responsible way.
The president shall be responsible for organizing Club activities,
delegating responsibilities to other officers, and notifying members of
organizational activities to accomplish the organization's goals.
The Vice president shall be responsible for helping the president to
accomplish the objectives that are the organization's goals. Also he/she
must complete delegated responsibilities in a reasonable manner.
The Secretary shall be responsible for keeping and handing in all paper
work and the record keeping of the club. Also he/she must inform
members of the organization's events. He/she must complete delegated
responsibilities in a reasonable manner.
The Treasurer is responsible for keeping track of finances and for financial
plans. He/she must inform the president of the financial situation and other
financial related responsibilities. He/she must complete delegated
responsibilities in a reasonable manner.
The Senator is to represent the voice of the organization in the student
government. He/she also informs the organization of student government
events. He/she must complete delegated responsibilities in 8 reasonable
manner.
Section II - ELECTION PROCEDURE
All officers are to be elected by the club members.
The president shall have the option of appointing a Vise President. If
anyone raises a doubt in the leadership of any existing officer, he/she can
summit a petition with 20 or more active member signatures to the adviser
or the President to call a re-election of any officer.
V: MEETINGS
Club meetings shall be held at Wednesday 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
No one shall be denied admission to any club meeting or activities without
reasonable explanation.
_ARTICLE VI: AMENDMENT PROCEDURES
All newly proposed amendment is to be ratified by 50.1 % or more votes of
the members and with the ratification of the adviser. Otherwise, it will
need 75% of the organization members vote to pass.
Any returning member that has attended 50% or more of club activities
shall be counted as two votes (active member are those who attended 50%
or more of club activities), any other personnel are counted as one vote.
iill.TICLE v11: RAIFICATION
This constitution and all amendments to it must be approved by the
appropriate governing body (QSA Student senate).
ARTICLE vrn. CONDUCT OF MEETINGS
Most meetings are conducted accordingly to Robert's Rules of Order,
although moderate rather than strict parliamentary procedures are
normally followed. Any disorderly conduct by any officer may result in
release from his/her duty by the adviser or 50% of the club members'
votes.
