Upon completing the program, you will fully understand how to assist trial attorneys, interview witnesses, investigate complex fact patterns, research the law and assist in the preparation of cases for courtroom litigation. The instruction is practice-oriented and related to those areas of the law in which paralegals are most in demand. Students are expected to complete a significant amount of homework and research for each weekly session. The program’s primary objective is to develop occupational competence. All classes are conducted in the evenings to minimize disruption to work day schedules. Students may miss only one class for courses meeting four sessions; and no absences for classes meeting three or less sessions.
