Abstract: Atmospheric and Space Technology Research Associates (ASTRA), LLC, is a privately owned research and development company in Boulder, CO, focused on understanding, forecasting, and mitigating the impacts of the space environment on our customers’ systems and operations. This talk will provide a brief overview of some of ASTRA’s technology efforts, including GPS-based space weather monitors, our recent breakthrough in making TEC and scintillation measurements from a moving buoy on the ocean, system for remote power and communication support for instruments, and finally, our Cubesat efforts. The goal of the talk is to search for profitable areas of collaboration between ASTRA and the Institute for Scientific Research.
