Meeting adjourned at 2:55pm # 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ITEM Specific charge from Steering Committee: review of the Degree Program Review Process and Criteria possible liaison (as needed) with the Special Committee on General Education Outcomes monitoring the success of CUNYStart Request data about the CUNYStart program from the Office of Academic Affairs, particularly pertaining to (a) passing/placement rates for students and (b) subsequent performance of students in credit-bearing courses review of the assessment of courses Information Literacy / Computer Literacy On-going consideration of the curricular impact of e-portfolios; consideration of the possibility of an STX-100 that would be full-semester, 1 credit (with the notion that the Curriculum Committee would vet the syllabus of such a course, and review who would teach it, what it would cover, and whether it would become a single-credit required course, or a pre-requisite for English 101.)
