Departmental procedures for conducting assessment . The Department has entered its courses into the QCC course assessment database. The database contains information on clearly stated student outcomes for each course entered. .Rubrics are developed for selected courses. Data is gathered on a regular basis and evaluated based on the rubrics. .A Department curriculum committee reviews the results of the data and makes recommendations to improve the results. Departmental participation in self-study/program review Program(s): Reviewed Program Review Follow-up Action Item Timeline Accomplishements Course Objectives and Course Assessment Course Assessed: MT111 Educational Objectives: 1,2,5 Curricular Objectives: B01,G01,A03 Results: The results were 78% for the indicator Action Plan: increase handouts and tutoring Results of certification exams, employer and alumni surveys, student surveys, advisory board recommendations Data Source Results Action Plan students should learn to use solidworks software the department careated mt293 Intro to Parametric Computer Aided Design Drafting Advisory Board recommendations Other assessment activity In compliance with TAC of ABET requirements the Department has developed a continuous improvement plan. Several courses are selected for assessment on a cyclic basis in order to satisfy ABET's 9 outcomes a through i.
