Objective: Students will be able to use the latest version of Microsoft Office PowerPoint software to create slide shows that can be presented using a
computer projection system or publish as interactive Web pages.

Objectives:

Students will use the latest
version of Microsoft
PowerPoint for the purpose of
creating slide presentations.
Students will create simple
and sophisticated
presentations.
Students will format
presentations to apply themes,
multimedia application,
animation for business and
personal use.

Students are assessed through
classroom and Blackboard
instruction on their abilities to
do the following:
Students use Microsoft
PowerPoint for textbook
lessons and supplemental
material.
Keyboarding business and
personal presentations.
Students use Microsoft
PowerPoint to practice such
concepts as inserting
text/objects in placeholders,
applying themes, arranging
slides, inserting multimedia
components, animation
features, charts, tables,
graphics, pictures, photo
albums, WordArt, SmartArt,
linked files, etc.
Students create, compose,
proofread, correct errors and
finalize presentations.

At the beginning of the
semester, 11 students were
registered for the course:
All of the students who
regularly attended class,
finished assignments on
time, and achieved a
passing average on class
tests by satisfactorily
completing the course.
All of the students who
regularly attended class,
finished assignments on
time and passed most tests
satisfactorily completed
the course; no changes in
student evaluation are
required at this time.
Students are required to print
and submit textbook exercises
for each chapter lesson.
Students are grade on
evaluation of Microsoft
PowerPoint concepts through
chapter tests, and on their
ability to produce professionallooking presentations. The
