Spring 2013
Course Evaluation
Nursing Diagnosis Text: 44.9 % (54 respondents)
stated that they did not use the text.
Course Manual: 28% did not agree that the book
helped to increase their knowledge.
Faculty will continue to encourage usage for
assignments.
21% (N=56) of students disagreed that Cardiac Day
helped with increasing understanding of course
content.
23% (N=56) of students disagreed that simulation
helped with increasing knowledge.
These two topics are evaluated immediately after the
offering and demonstrate very positive results. This
semester there were multiple problems with the low
fidelity manikins and blood pressure measurement,
which caused a lot of dissatisfaction with the students.
IPASS: 50% (N=57) disagreed that this service helped
increase knowledge and skills.
