Judge C.G. Weeramantry has won international recognition for his work, through such
awards as the UNESCO Prize for Peach Education, the Right Livelihood Award (Alternative

Towards one World Volume lll: The International court and thereafter
Like his other works, this book conveys a very strong message about the use of law as a
means for the betterment of humanity, saving it from the destruction threatened by nuclear
weapons, and leading the world forward to a regime of universal peace and justice.
This book will be fascinating reading, not only for lawyers and judges, but also for all those
interested in human rights and universal justice.
Books to be available for purchase on the launch night.
