QUALIFICATIONS: 1. 2. 3.. 4. 5. 6. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Educational experience preferred. Knowledge of installing, updating and supporting NOVELL, or Windows NT with Menuing. Knowledge in Ethernet and Token-Ring environments. Knowledge of IBM mainframe in a WAN and connectivity to LAN’s. Ability to perform essential functions of the job. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *1. *2. To provide technical support for hardware and software installation/upgrades. To perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems. *3. To upgrade network hardware and software components as required. *4. To install, upgrade, and/or configure networks for printers, directory structures, rights, security, and software on file servers. *5. To support networks at all schools within zone through maintenance of hardware. *6. To offer ongoing support for ILS as well as other software. *7. To provide assistance to schools with teacher training, and keep the Human Resource Development Center informed as to request for and training available in technology. *8.
